# Marketing campaign decision and handoff checklist

Use this before adding an agent to a recurring campaign. Fill it in once, then keep the approved revision with the campaign task.

## Campaign decision

- Campaign and cycle:
- Reader and decision the content must help them make:
- Deliverable and exact place to inspect it:
- Human owner for audience, angle and positioning:
- One-assistant test performed and observed limitation:
- Boundary that remains after improving the brief: independent review / distinct access / separate ongoing ownership / none.
- Smallest role split to test (or keep one assistant):
- Evidence that would justify keeping or undoing the split:

If no boundary remains, keep one assistant. A human reviewer can provide independent judgment. Recurrence alone does not require a team.

## Handoff for each assigned step

| Field | Fill in |
| --- | --- |
| Owner | Person or agent accountable for this step. |
| Inputs | Links to exact source/document revisions. |
| Supported claim | Wording the evidence permits. |
| Limitation | Unverified or forbidden claim that must travel with the source. |
| Output | Artifact the next owner can inspect. |
| Acceptance | Observable reason to accept or reject the output. |
| Access | Existing tools required; sending/publishing access separately stated. |
| Stop condition | Missing source, changed product behavior or unresolved claim. |
| Escalation | Human who decides when the brief or claim needs to change. |

## Review and release

- Draft revision and preview:
- Reviewer who did not produce the draft:
- Factual review owner:
- Reader-value question: what can the intended reader now decide or do?
- Correction limit and human escalation after it:
- Accepted/rejected changes and reasons:
- Human who approves the exact output:
- Person or agent authorized to send/publish after approval:
- Work and decisions the next cycle inherits:
- Observed elapsed time, manual interventions and available cost evidence (unreported cost is unknown):

Paperclip task review controls the task's recorded decision. Check release permissions in the external destination separately.
